What This Role Actually Is
This is a hands-on design role focused on creating daily arrangements, supporting event and wedding work, and helping execute during high-volume periods. It’s not just about creativity, you’ll need to design efficiently, follow recipes when needed, and work as part of a team to complete orders on time.
What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
You’ll be designing arrangements for daily orders, assisting with event and wedding florals, processing flowers, and supporting the team to ensure all orders are completed accurately and on schedule. This may include preparing pieces for events and helping with setup when needed. During holidays like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, the role becomes more production-focused and fast-moving.
Who this is perfect for
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in their work. You’re able to balance creativity with efficiency, stay focused during busy periods, and work well as part of a team. Previous floral design experience is preferred. You like being productive, keeping things moving, and contributing to a shop environment where quality and consistency matter.
Who This Is NOT For
This role is not a fit for someone who prefers to work slowly or focuses only on creativity without considering efficiency. If you struggle to keep pace, avoid teamwork, or feel overwhelmed during busy periods, this position will likely not be the right fit. This role requires consistency, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently alongside a team.
