What This Role Actually Is
This is not just a customer service position. You will be responsible for managing customer communication and follow-up, including emails, phone calls, and social media messages and comments. You will keep orders organized and moving forward, support designers with the details they need, and act as a liaison between the team and ownership, ensuring everything stays on track and nothing falls through the cracks.
What the Day-to-Day Looks Like
On a daily basis, you will respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels, including phone, email, and social media, while following up on leads and existing orders. You will track details to ensure accuracy, coordinate information between customers, designers, and delivery, and assist with ordering and inventory organization while maintaining clear systems, notes, and timelines.
Who this is perfect for
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys keeping things in order. You are comfortable communicating with customers, naturally follow up without being asked, and can manage multiple tasks without losing track of important details. You take ownership of your work and prefer to stay ahead rather than react. This role requires timely responses and the ability to stay on top of communication and details throughout the day.
Who This Is NOT For
This role is not a fit for someone who needs constant direction, avoids follow-up, or struggles to stay organized when managing multiple details at once. If you prefer slow, repetitive work with little variation or feel easily overwhelmed by changing priorities, this position will likely not be the right fit. This role requires ownership, consistency, and the ability to keep things on track without being reminded.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Success in this role means orders/events are accurate, organized, and completed on time, designers have the information they need without chasing it down, and customers feel communicated with and taken care of throughout the process. The team operates more efficiently because you are keeping everything aligned behind the scenes.
